Puppet Authorities' Human Rights Abuses Accused
Pyongyang, June 28 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance of Youth and Students for Korea's Reunification released a statement on June 24 denouncing the puppet Ministry of Justice for its human rights abuses.

The statement accused the ministry of blocking the correspondence of Yun Ki Jin, chairman of the headquarters still behind bars, and secretly destroying his letters.

Noting that Yun has consistently conducted his acts of sending his letters reflecting his views on the present situation and the reunification movement behind bars, the statement expressed resentment at the authorities who are depriving him of even elementary human rights.

Correspondences of Choe Han Uk, executive chairperson of the Solidarity for Implementing the South-North Joint Declaration, and Kang Jin Gu, former executive chairperson of the solidarity, came to a halt due to the authorities' undemocratic human rights abuses.

It has been recently disclosed that the ministry arranged a cell in order to arrest Roh Moo Hyun, former "president", at Anyang prison, the statement said, deploring that south Korea has turned into a barren land of human rights under the Lee regime.

It declared that the youth and students in south Korea would wage an all-out struggle to force the Lee Myung Bak dictatorial regime to step down in order to realize democracy and achieve independent reunification.
