Lee Myung Bak's Sycophancy towards U.S. and Treachery Condemned by Koreans in Japan
Pyongyang, June 26 (KCNA) -- A meeting of Koreans in Japan was held in Tokyo on June 24 to denounce Lee Myung Bak for his sycophancy towards the U.S. and treachery and to support the south Korean people in their struggle for independence, democracy and reunification.

Nam Sung U, vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, in a report assailed traitor Lee for having totally negated the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, bedeviled the inter-Korean relations and pushed the situation on the Korean Peninsula to the brink of a nuclear war in league with foreign forces while enforcing tyrannical rule and reducing south Korea to a dark land under fascist dictatorship.

He expressed support to the anti-Lee Myung Bak struggle of the south Korean people gaining in scope and strength throughout south Korea with each passing day. He declared all the officials of Chongryon and Koreans would turn out in the dynamic movement for national reunification in order to frustrate the anti-reunification moves of traitor Lee and defend and implement the above-said declarations without fail.

Then Jun Shimizu, representative member of the Japan Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea, and Tomatsu Katsunori, member of the Secretariat of National Network of the Japan-south Korea People's Solidarity, made speeches expressing solidarity with the struggle of the south Korean people.

Ri Myong Yu, vice-chairman of the Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters of Chongryon, Rim Kyong Suk, chairperson of the Kanagawa Prefectural Headquarters of the Union of Democratic Korean Women in Japan, and Choe Song Yong, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Youth League in Japan, made speeches denouncing traitor Lee.

Prior to the meeting, the attendants watched a video "Mounting Anti-Lee Myung Bak Struggle of South Korean People."

They put their signatures on the Korean Peninsula Flag, reflecting their will to thoroughly implement the above-said declarations.
