The work published on Sept. 5, Juche 97 (2008) says that the 60-year long history of the DPRK is a history of great struggle and victory and that of great creation and changes during which its independence and honor have been protected and a prosperous socialist state has emerged, weathering the tempest of revolution under the leadership of the great leader and the great party and clarifies the idea that even a small and backward country can become a developed country and a dignified power when it has a great leader and a great party.
