UNSC "Resolution on Sanctions" against DPRK Denounced in Nigeria
Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) -- The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea made public a statement on June 14 in denunciation of the United Nations Security Council's "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK.

Recalling that the UNSC adopted the "resolution 1874" in spite of unanimous opposition of the world progressive people, further aggravating the situation of the Korean Peninsula, the statement said:

Nigerian followers of the Juche idea and peace-loving people fully support the stand of the DPRK and bitterly denounce the UNSC "resolution on sanctions."

The "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK goes to prove that the UNSC acts quite contrary to its action principles under the manipulation of the U.S. Due to such behavior the principle of respect for sovereignty of countries and equality is seriously violated, threatening the very existence of the UN.

The statement strongly demanded the UNSC withdraw the "resolution 1874" immediately and thoroughly observe its action principles and stop playing a servant of the U.S. and its followers who force other countries to be obedient to them.

It called upon the world peace-loving progressive people to turn out as one and fully support the just cause of the Korean people and launch extensive solidarity movement denouncing the above-said "resolution on sanctions" in diverse forms and ways.
