Commenting on this fact, Minju Joson Saturday brands his remarks as a revelation of the wicked intention to stand in confrontation with the fellow countrymen to the last in conspiracy with outsiders, which can never be allowed.

It is thanks to the DPRK's powerful war deterrent for self-defense that the aggressors' scheme to ignite the second Korean war has been fully frustrated and peace has been maintained on the Korean Peninsula, the paper says, and goes on:

This deterrent also protects the security of the south Korean people.

It is none other than the United States and the Lee Myung Bak group kowtowing to it that are posing a threat to the security of the Korean Peninsula and the global peace.

This being a hard reality, the Lee group of traitors made such reckless remarks as "threat" and "resolute and decisive counteraction" over the DPRK's self-defensive war deterrent. This fully revealed again the bellicose colors of the group engaging itself only in confrontation with fellow countrymen.

Its assertion for "dialogue" and "huge assistance", too, can never be overlooked.

The group of traitors pushed the inter-Korean relations, which had been developed favorably since the publication of the June 15 joint declaration, into the phase of collapse with neither dialogue nor cooperation and spoiled the process of denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula. Not content with this, it recently solicited the U.S. for "provision of combat force for extended nuclear deterrence" in an attempt to impose nuclear disaster upon the fellow countrymen. So, it is the height of impudence and shamelessness that the group talked about "dialogue" and "huge assistance".

The Lee group would be well advised to apologize to the nation and step down from power, far from foolishly seeking its way out in the confrontation with the DPRK.
