Recalling that great achievements have been made in the work for national reconciliation and cooperation and the reunification movement since the publication of the June 15 joint declaration, the statement said: But, no sooner had the Lee Myung Bak regime emerged than it came out with such anti-DPRK, anti-reunification policy of confrontation as "no nukes, opening and 3,000 dollars," driving the inter-Korean relations into the brink of war.

What is intolerable is that the "government" and the "Grand National Party" and other pro-U.S. conservative forces opposed to reunification seek to lay the blame for the collapse of the inter-Korean relations at the door of the north.

It is the Lee Myung Bak bellicose forces that are wholly to blame for the deteriorated inter-Korean relations as they are fully participating in the PSI and hell-bent on the racket for a war of aggression.

The statement called on the youth to dedicate sweat and blood to the struggle for eliminating the anti-reunification forces standing in the way of implementing the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and achieving the independent reunification of the country.
