Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held in Sweden and a meeting, a book and photo exhibition and film shows in India between June 5 and 9 to commemorate the 45th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 9th anniversary of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.
Displayed in the venues of the events were works of the peerlessly great men and photos showing their revolutionary activities and books and photos introducing the Korean people's struggle.
Speeches were made at the functions.
Appreciated at the film shows were such Korean films as "Reply of Korea."
A message to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the meeting held in Sweden.
