Anniversary of Birth of Kim Il Sung to Be Commemorated in Syria

Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) -- A Syrian preparatory committee was inaugurated in Damascus on June 10 to commemorate the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung.

The director of the Organizational Department of the Regional Leadership of Syria's Baath Arab Socialist Party was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee decided to hold colorful events including seminar, round-table talks, photo exhibition and film show until the Day of the Sun in 2012.
