Children's Films Newly Released
Pyongyang, June 17 (KCNA) -- The Korean April 26 Children's Film Studio has of late released new films for children.

The film "Small and Large Wild Insam" is based on a folktale told by General Secretary Kim Jong Il. The story revolves on old man Kim who let his child eat a small root of wild insam (ginseng) suitable to his age and avaricious Pak, a petty official, who let his child eat a big one which made him a fool. It tells that one should administer a medicine according to age and one might make a mess of the matter when one is ignorant.

"Kind Heart," part four of the puppet film "Red Star," portrays a child who teases a friend clumsy at singing and a child who helps the friend amend his shortcomings. It tells that one should always love and help one's friends.

The film "Winged Ants" shows the truth that knowledge is strength and one should gain it by studying hard and only then can one win the fight with the enemy through a story of ants beating wolf spiders by taking advantage of wind blowing from a ravine.
