Action against Conservative Media Launched in S. Korea
Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- More than 600 civic and public organizations in south Korea, including the People's Movement for the Sovereignty of Media Subscribers and the People's Council for Livelihood and Democracy, on Monday turned out in the campaign against conservative media subservient to the "government" of traitors.

They called a joint press conference outside the Chosun Ilbo, declaring that they would launch a campaign of boycotting the products of a business related to the conservative newspapers.

Speakers at the conference stated that this business has been designated as the primary target of their struggle as it is busy ordering ads on conservative Chosun Ilbo, Choongang Ilbo and Dong-A Ilbo.

They warned that the spearhead of the campaign would be also directed to other businesses ordering ads on those conservative newspapers.

The campaign will last till an end is put to ordering ads on those newspapers, they declared.

The Lee Myung Bak "government" is still hell-bent on the crackdown on those involved in last year's campaign of boycotting the conservative newspapers, branding it "as illegal" but the organizations will launch a new indomitable struggle against it, they stated.
