Present there were officials of health care, ministries and national institutions, working people of Pyongyang, members of missions of the WHO and international organizations in the DPRK, foreign diplomatic representatives and embassy officials in the city.

Speeches were followed by a screening of CD related to "Tobacco Health Warnings", the theme for this year.

The participants looked round the prizewinning works at the contest of designs on the harmfulness of tobacco held on the occasion of the World No-Tobacco Day and watched a performance given by the hygienic propaganda team.

Meanwhile, colorful propaganda activities were held according to the theme throughout the country.
