Anti-"Government" Struggle Unabated in South Korea
Pyongyang, June 2 (KCNA) -- According to CBS of south Korea, the Federation of Public Transport and Service Trade Unions, the Freight Workers' Solidarity and other labor movement organizations in south Korea and the Joint Action against the Suppression of Labor and for People's Right to Existence and Democracy in south Korea made up of the Solidarity for Progress, the Federation of University Student Councils and other organizations staged an anti-"government" struggle in Seoul on May 30.

The puppet police hurled riot policemen at dawn of that day to cordon off the square outside the Seoul city office expected to be the venue of a rally and the area around it.

Enraged at the police's action, the organizations shifted the venue to the Deogsu Palace and Myongdong and other places and held meetings strongly demanding the group of traitors provide the freight transport workers with the right to existence and stop the crackdown upon the labor movement.

Then the organizations attempted to enter the square outside the city office after forming ranks of demonstrators for denouncing the Lee Myung Bak "government".

The police resorted to brutal suppression of protesters, wounding many of them and walking off more than 70 people.
