Rodong Sinmun asserts that the announcement is, in essence, an undisguised declaration of a war against the DPRK as it is a rash act of disclosing the criminal scenario of the confrontation and war fanatics and an open expression of their stand to provoke a war of aggression against the DPRK at any cost in line with the U.S. imperialists' hostile policy toward the DPRK.

The paper brands the Lee Myung Bak group's full participation in the PSI as a serious encroachment upon the dignity and sovereignty of the DPRK and a declaration for a war against peace as it is aimed to provoke the second Korean war any moment after wrecking peace on the Korean Peninsula and a despicable treacherous and anti-reunification act of bringing the north-south relations to total collapse.

Saying that the group is seriously mistaken if it thinks it can apply the U.S. style logic guided by the law of jungle against the DPRK, the paper goes on:

It is our mode of counteraction to respond to rifle firing by the U.S. imperialists and the group of traitors with artillery firing and beat back their preemptive attack with strong retaliatory blows. It is our mode of strike to neutralize the hostile forces' military muscle with unimaginable means strong enough to shake the earth.

The Lee group of warmongers' full participation in the PSI would only serve as a catalyst precipitating its miserable end.

Minju Joson warns that should the group of traitors keep to the road of confrontation with fellow countrymen it will never be able to escape merciless punishment.
