Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- Officials of party and armed forces organs, ministries and national institutions of the DPRK on Thursday visited revolutionary battle sites and revolutionary sites in the area of Mt. Paektu on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the victory in the battles in the Musan area commanded by President Kim Il Sung.
Kim Yong Chun, Choe Thae Bok and Choe Yong Rim and officials of party and armed forces organs, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions laid floral baskets and bouquets before the statues of Kim Il Sung standing on the shore of Lake Samji and in the Chongbong Bivouac and paid tribute to him.
After being briefed on the Samjiyon Revolutionary Battle Site, they went round the Samjiyon Grand Monument and other revolutionary sites.
They continued their visit along the same course as covered by the main unit of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army led by the President when marching in fine array along the "Kapsan-Musan guard road" built by the enemy.
They looked round the sites of the command, barked trees bearing slogans, sites of campfires and cooking and others in the Chongbong, Konchang and Pegaebong bivouacs.
