New Stamps Issued
Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- Eight kinds of new individual stamps have been issued on marking the golden jubilee for both of the Central Zoo and the Central Botanical Garden in the DPRK.

President Kim Il Sung personally came out to the foot of Mt. Taesong in April Juche 48 (1959) and designated sites of the zoo and the garden in order to provide the people with cultural living conditions.

The stamps carry pictures of Accipiter gentilis, Anthropoides paradisea, Larus argentatus and Balearica pavonina as well as Catalpa ovata, Betula Platyphylla, Juglans cordifomis and Metasequoia glyptostroboides.

Also published are another eight kinds of new individual stamps showing the training of sportspersons and diversified camping life of schoolchildren.
