Brazilian Delegation Feted
Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea gave a reception at Pyongyang Koryo Hotel on Wednesday in honor of the visiting delegation of the Brazilian Workers' Party.

Present at the reception on invitation were members of the delegation led by Secretary for International Relations of its National Executive Committee Valter Pomar.

Secretary Kim Jung Rin and officials of the Central Committee of the WPK were present there.

Kim Jung Rin said in his speech at the reception that the Brazilian Workers' Party has played a leading role in the work to achieve the independent development in the region.

Wishing the Brazilian Workers' Party fresh success in its activities to improve the people's living conditions and develop the country's economy, he expressed belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between the parties and peoples of the two countries would grow stronger in the idea of independence, peace and friendship.

Valter Pomar in his speech said he was confident that the current visit would mark an important occasion in getting better knowledge about the DPRK's reality and exchanging each other's views.

He expressed belief that the delegation's visit would contribute to developing the relations between the two parties and hoped that the Korean people would achieve greater success in their struggle and the relations between the Brazilian Workers' Party and the WPK would develop on better terms.
