Japan's Scenario for Preemptive Attack on DPRK Flayed
Pyongyang, May 19 (KCNA) -- Japan was reported to contemplate pushing ahead with an examination of the proposal to expand the scope of the "Self-Defense Forces'" use of weapons for the purpose of "defending its territorial air" in the "defence programme guidelines" to be revised late this year.

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

The aim sought by Japan is to allow the SDF to use weapons in its territorial air and thus "intercept" satellites or missiles to be launched by the DPRK in the future.

What should not be overlooked is the fact that the Japanese reactionaries are seeking to introduce an early warning satellite as its countermeasure against the DPRK's satellite launch and bolster up the missile defence system.

These developments in Japan go to prove that the Japanese reactionaries remain unchanged in their scenario to mount a preemptive attack on the DPRK in a bid to realize the reinvasion of Korea at any cost and this has reached a danger level.

Japan has disclosed its undisguised ambition to make a preemptive strike at the DPRK after gradually escalating the moves to turn it into a military power under the pretext of "missile threat" from the DPRK. This is nothing but a folly of those who know nothing of the DPRK.

The Japanese reactionaries would be well advised to stop acting rashly, well aware of the DPRK's capability for making its own style preemptive strike as it is always ready to deal decisive and merciless blows at any aggressors with the unpredictable tremendous military force.

If Japan dares preempt an attack on the DPRK, its army and people will finally settle accounts with Japan, their sworn enemy.
