S. Korean Authorities Intensify Suppression of Patriotic Youths
Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) -- The North Chungchong provincial branch of the puppet Intelligence Service and the North Chungchong provincial police office of south Korea handed the members of the Chongju Youth Association for Reunification detained on the charge of violation of the notorious "National Security Law" over to the puppet prosecution on May 15, according to "Yonhap News" of south Korea.

The puppet authorities took such action, charging that those members "printed and distributed literature praising the north, thus benefiting the enemy" and "disseminated the pro-north thought" while conducting activities after joining the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification and the south Korean Council of Youth Organizations defined as "enemy-benefiting organizations."

The authorities accused them of participating in the "illegal violent demonstrations" in April 2005 and in May 2006.

The puppet group's repressive campaign for stifling the reunification movement forces is now spreading across south Korea.
