Present at the talks from the DPRK side were Minister of Foreign Trade Ri Ryong Nam and Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kim Hyong Jun and from the Zimbabwean side Minister of Agriculture Mechanization and Irrigation Development Joseph Mtekwese Made, Minister of Energy and Power Development Elias Mudzuri, Minister of Mines and Mining Development Obert Moses Mpofu and Minister of Industry and Commerce Welshman Ncube and Foreign Minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi.

At the talks both sides exchanged views on the issue of boosting the favorably developing friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries and matters of bilateral concern.
