Lee Myung Bak Group Fated to Face Stern Judgment
Pyongyang, May 9 (KCNA) -- All the candidates from the "Grand National Party" (GNP) were defeated in the "National Assembly by-election" held in south Korea in late April, bringing the worst election failure to the party of traitors.

Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Saturday observes: Though it was "by-election", it assumed the nature of making "an intermediary judgment" of all the policies pursued by the Lee Myung Bak regime during more than one year of its office and reflected the mind-set of the south Korean people. In this aspect the outcome of the election was a fair yet stern judgment made by the south Korean people upon the group of traitors swimming against the desire of the nation and the trend of the times.

The news analyst cites facts to prove that the present ruling quarters of south Korea have behaved quite contrary to the mind-set of the south Korean people by enforcing the unpopular and traitorous policies during this period. A ray of hope entertained by south Korean people for the "pragmatic government" was completely dashed, leaving them greatly disillusioned with the group of traitors and angered at it, the commentary says, and goes on:

In a word, the outcome of the election was people's stern judgment and warning to the Lee group of traitors which has gone arrogant, quite contrary to the mind-set of the south Korean people.

The GNP is now busy eradicating the aftermath of the election failure, trumpeting about what it called "personnel reshuffle" and the like. This is, however, nothing but a cynical ploy of those who still do not properly know what people's mind-set is like. What the south Korean people want is a total drop of the traitorous policies going against the desire of the nation and the trend of the times and an immediate resignation of the "pragmatic government."

The Lee group would be well advised to behave itself, seriously accepting the results of the election as the stern warning of the angered people to it and their firm will to put an end to the traitorous policy without fail.
