The magazine carried a photo of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il standing together on Mt. Paektu.

Seen in the magazine was a letter the general association sent to Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the President.

It edited an article titled "The eternal father of all people possessed of noble virtues."

The article praised the President as the eternal father of all people and the great sun of humankind as he embraced the 70 million Koreans and world people from all walks of life with his noble virtues, magnanimity, warm heart and noble humanity and showed warm loving care for them.

The magazine also conveyed photo-accompanied news that the general association and its affiliated organizations held colorful events to commemorate the Day of the Sun.

It carried statements issued by organizations of Korean residents in China denouncing the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors in south Korea for its anti-DPRK moves.
