The Ecuadorian Committee for Supporting Korea's Independent and Peaceful Reunification in a statement on April 20 accused the UNSC of making public the brigandish "presidential statement" over the DPRK's satellite launch.

The statement charged that today the UN has turned into a spiritless tool speaking for the interests of the U.S. imperialists and their stooges only in handling the world problems, forgetful of its original mission.

The above-said committee expressed the will to dynamically wage a movement supporting the Juche idea and socialism with the Korean people, it noted.

The Ecuadorian Guaranda Association for Friendship, Culture and Solidarity with the Korean People in a statement on April 21 noted that the association regards the victory won by the Korean people as a success and pride of the whole mankind, adding that it would advance toward the hopeful tomorrow sharing sweets and bitters with the Korean people.

The satellite Kwangmyongsong-2 symbolizes peace and progress of humankind, the statement stressed.
