At a trial that day the group of traitors sentenced prison terms to four hardcore members of the solidarity, claiming that it is a "dangerous organization benefiting the enemy".

In this connection civic and public organizations held a press conference in front of the court and protested against the unreasonable behavior of the puppet authorities.

In a press release the organizations said that such behavior fully revealed that the case of the solidarity was faked up by the security authorities pursuant to the Lee Myung Bak regime's confrontational policy.

The definition of the solidarity as an "enemy-benefiting organization" is little short of labeling the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration as "benefiting the enemy", the organizations said, calling for struggling in firm unity till all the detainees are set free.

They stressed that they would appeal against the suppression of the solidarity.
