S. Korean Authorities' Fascist Actions Flailed
Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) -- Some time ago, the south Korean fascist authorities walked away to a police station eight persons affiliated to the Confederation of Trade Unions, charging that the "general voting of trade unionists" conducted by the confederation with the approach of the "by-election of National Assemblymen" was in violation of the "law on election". In another development, they arrested dozens of youth and students who attended a "hair-cutting ceremony of university student representatives" demanding a solution to the issues of registration fee and young unemployed on charges of violation of the "law on assembly and demonstration".

These repressive rackets are the hideous fascist actions which can be perpetrated only by the Lee Myung Bak "government" ill-famed for its serious human rights abuses and pragmatic dictatorship, says Rodong Sinmun Thursday in a signed commentary.

It goes on:

The activities conducted by the progressive forces and the patriotic people for the democratic development of society and the right to existence against the unpopular rule of the south Korean authorities can never be targets of suppression as they are quite just and natural.

This notwithstanding, the Lee group is arresting guiltless people, treating them as criminals. This is an unpardonable criminal action to render all fabrics of society strictly fascist in favor of its dictatorial rule in gross violation of people's elementary democratic freedom and rights and the right to existence.

The Lee group is a junta of the worst fascist gangsters putting the successive military dictators into the shade as it has trampled down upon people's elementary right to existence and democratic freedom with violence in order to prop up its treacherous rule and tide over its ruling crisis.

The Lee regime has not brought any benefit to the south Korean people but dashed even their desire for national reunification, to say nothing of national dignity and rights and democracy.

The intensified suppression by the south Korean authorities would get them nowhere.

The history and the nation have already sentenced the Lee regime to death penalty.

This is clearly exemplified by the strong voices of various social circles and the people of broad strata in south Korea demanding the regime step down.

The ferocious fascist dictators will be forced to stand the trial of history any time for betraying the nation quite contrary to the trend of the times.
