Andre Aubry, delegate president of the France-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee and the general secretary of the Central Committee of the French Revolutionary Communist League vice-chairman of the committee.

The committee decided to widely introduce the immortal exploits performed by the President for the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence and conduct positive activities in support of the just cause of Korean people waging a dynamic drive for building a great prosperous and powerful nation and achieving national reunification under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.
