Kim Il Sung Highly Praised
Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- A remembrance meeting of families of those related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle took place at the DPRK embassy in Beijing on Apr. 10 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

The participants laid floral baskets before the full-length picture of Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and watched Korean film "The Arch of Triumph."

The son of anti-Japanese revolutionary fighter Li Zade, Zhang Jinlu, daughter of anti-Japanese revolutionary martyr Zhang Weihua, Zhou Wei and Feng Yila, daughters of Zhou Baozhong and Feng Zhongyun related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, and the daughter of Liu Hanxing related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle spoke at the meeting.

They looked back with deep emotion on the immortal exploits the President performed for developing the world revolution and the Sino-Korean friendship and the boundless loving care he showed for them.

They stressed that Kim Jong Il who is carrying forward the intention of the President has invariably shown loving care for the families of Chinese related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle.

They warmly congratulated the Korean people on their successful launch of the satellite Kwangmyongsong-2 and other big successes they have achieved under the energetic Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il, thus dealing telling blows at the imperialists and their followers and instilling confidence and encouragement into the world peace-loving people.

They extended congratulations to Kim Jong Il upon his reelection as chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission at the First Session of the 12th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK.

They expressed belief that the Korean people would surely open the gate to a great prosperous and powerful nation in 2012, which marks the centenary of birth of Kim Il Sung, without fail under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.
