Day of Sun Commemorated in Mexico
Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- Mexican organizations released bulletins carrying the portrait of smiling President Kim Il Sung to commemorate the anniversary of his birth.

The Mexican Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea said, in an article titled "Life of Great Man Seen with Numbers" carried in the 33rd issue of its bulletin, that the whole life of Kim Il Sung is a history of great devotion as he built a country for the people and dedicated his all to the building of a powerful socialist nation.

The President gave field guidance to more than 20,600 units across the country from the very day of Korea's liberation to early July of 1994, and the total length of his journey for guidance was over 578,000 kms, the bulletin noted.

The bulletin cited data to inform that the President authored over 10,800 works, met with a total of at least 70,000 foreign personages and received honorary titles, orders, medals, gifts, etc. from many countries.

The Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism, in an article entitled "Model of Internationalism" carried in its bulletin on April 2, noted that the President strengthened unity and solidarity with peoples of many countries advancing under the banner of independence and rendered material and moral support to their struggle and clearly indicated the ways for realizing the cause of global independence through his energetic ideological and theoretical activities until the last moments of his life since he embarked on the road of revolution.

The President who set a model of noble internationalism will live forever with the progressive humankind vigorously advancing toward an independent world, the bulletin stressed.
