Songhwa Fine Art Exhibition Opens
Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- The Songhwa Fine Art Exhibition was opened at the Pyongyang International Cultural Center Tuesday to commemorate the Day of the Sun.

On display in the venue of the exhibition are more than 70 art works created by old painters across the country.

Korean paintings "Visiting Mangyongdae in April" and "Site of Headquarters in Konchang Bivouac", oil painting "Mangyongdae in Spring" and other works deal with the noble ideological and moral world of the Korean people to hold President Kim Il Sung in high esteem and follow him for all ages.

Among them are Korean paintings "Lake Chon on Mt. Paektu" and "Jong Il Peak Shines", oil paintings "The Shore of Lake Samji" and "Osan Hill in Spring" and other works representing the will of all servicepersons and people to eternally glorify the immortal exploits the three commanders of Mt. Paektu performed by laying an eternal foundation for the prosperity of the country and the nation.

Also on display are art pieces introducing the worksites in different fields of national economy seething with a high-pitched drive for bringing about a great revolutionary surge.
