Retraction of Unpopular Educational Policy Demanded in South Korea
Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- Youth organizations of south Korea including the Youth Council for Livelihood and Democracy and the Preparatory Committee for the Youth Association of Kyonggi Province held a press conference outside the Office of Education in Kyonggi Province on April 2 to denounce the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors for its unpopular educational policy.

The organizations assailed the Lee Myung Bak "government" for enforcing an educational policy only in favor of a few privileged circles despite the unanimous opposition of people.

They deplored that since the emergence of the present "government" the education fee has spiraled at private schools, pupils and their parents have been driven into despair because of the "profit-seeking education " and the "education for the privileged circles" enforced by it and those teachers who opposed the unfair educational policy of the authorities have been fired.

The organizations urged the present "government" to roll back at once the unpopular educational policy.
