Ceremonies to start the school year took place at universities and middle and primary schools across the country on Wednesday.

Officials of Party and power organs at all levels, teachers, students and their parents warmly congratulated the new comers entering campus with flowers on their chests.

Reports and speeches were made at the ceremonies.

The ceremonies were followed by the first lessons of the new school year.
