April Holidays of DPRK to Be Observed in Italy

Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- The Group of Dialectical Materialists of Italy released the April issue of the magazine La Voce, its organ, as a special issue on the occasions of the Day of the Sun, the 16th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's election as chairman of the National Defence Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the 77th anniversary of the foundation of the heroic Korean People's Army (KPA).

The magazine entitled "April 15 is the birthday of great President Kim Il Sung" and "April 9 is the anniversary of Comrade Kim Jong Il's election as chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and April 25, the day of the foundation of the KPA."

It said:

President Kim Il Sung, founder of socialist Korea, was the great statesman who dedicated all his life to defending the sovereignty of the nation and the reunification of the country and the happiness of the people.

Kim Jong Il, chairman of the NDC, has led the struggle of the Korean people to achieve the reunification of the country and build a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation on the land of the DPRK to victory and glory with his Songun revolutionary leadership true to the behest of the President.

The Korean people will surely achieve the independent reunification of the country and build a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.
