The statement said that the joint military exercises designed to invade the DPRK show that the new U.S. administration is little different from the former Bush administration in the hostile policy toward the DPRK.

It stressed that the U.S. imperialists are a mastermind of imperialism mercilessly trampling down upon the Korean people's right to achieve the peaceful reunification and the first enemy of the world people.

It called upon the world progressive people to fully support the DPRK and further strengthen solidarity with the south Korean people in their struggle against the U.S. imperialists and the sycophantic and treacherous Lee Myung Bak group and war.

The Japanese Liaison Society for Joint Action in Asia in a statement on March 12 condemned the Japanese government for having further reduced Japan to a logistic and supply base and a sortie base of the U.S. forces for aggression on the DPRK.

The statement strongly demanded that the U.S. discontinue the joint military exercises with the south Korean puppets at once and withdraw the GIs, the biggest stumbling block to Korea's reunification and the chieftain of war, from the Asia-Pacific region including south Korea and Japan.
