Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet air force announced on Thursday that they would stage a joint drill in the U.S. air force base in Kunsan during Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises, according to Yonhap News of south Korea.
The U.S. 8th combat air division and the 11th combat air division of the puppet air force are going to conduct DPRK-targeted war exercises from March 9 to 12 allegedly to increase the capability of joint operation.
Meanwhile, the south Korea-U.S. "combined forces command" announced that eight war exercises under various names would be opened to the press, including street warfare, mountain warfare and live firing drills to be staged across south Korea during the joint military exercises.
Also, the 51st division of the puppet army is reported to stage Foal Eagle exercises in the area of Kyonggi Province from March 9 to 13.
Such projected reckless war gambles aimed at invasion of the DPRK clearly show how frantically the U.S. imperialists and the puppet bellicose forces are trying to ignite a war in the Korean Peninsula at any cost.
