Puppet Authorities' Action against Human Rights Flayed
Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- At least 200 human rights organizations in Pusan, Taegu and Kwangju of south Korea held a press conference in Seoul on March 2 at which they denounced the puppet authorities' unreasonable action against human rights.

The organizations accused the puppet Ministry of Administration and Security of instructing the "Human Rights Committee" of drastically cutting down its staff and closing its local offices and threatening to forcibly enforce the action in case it refuses to implement the instruction.

Recalling that the Lee Myung Bak regime has left no means untried to render the said committee defunct since the outset of his office, the organizations held that the action is part of its moves.

Noting that human rights have been crudely violated under the Lee regime, the organizations charged that the "government's" action to cut down the staff of the said committee for the mere reason that it is displeased with its activities is little short of a human rights abuse.

The organizations declared that they would launch a movement in protest against the "government's" undemocratic action.
