KCNA Blasts Japan's Moves to Seize Tok Islet
Pyongyang, March 4 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionaries have become all the more undisguised in their moves to seize Tok Islet.

A typical example is the "day of Takeshima" which was observed in Shimane Prefecture recently as an "annual event" despite domestic and foreign protest.

Those who spoke at the function let loose outbursts that Japan should build up "international public opinion" as regards the issue of "Takeshima" and it should increase budget for it.

This cannot but be a gangster-like move to grab the territory of other country.

Tok Islet is part of the inviolable territory of Korea from the historical, geographical and international legal points of view from A to Z.

This notwithstanding, the Japanese reactionaries assert that Tok Islet belongs to Japan, marking the "day of Takeshima" as an "annual event" since its institution in March 2005.

Lurking behind this is their sinister intention to occupy the islet and plunder it of its rich underground and aquatic resources and, furthermore, use the islet situated in the militarily sensitive place as a springboard from which to attain their wild ambition for staging a comeback to Korea.

It is a trite trick of the imperialists to spark off territorial disputes and mobilize armed forces under those pretexts and thus provoke a war of aggression.

By persistently asserting that the islet belongs to Japan it seeks to establish a justification for staging a comeback to Korea.

It is foolhardy of Japan to try to grab the islet.

The DPRK will never tolerate such moves.
