Newly Discovered Poems and Songs Created during Anti-Japanese Armed Struggle
Pyongyang, March 4 (KCNA) -- Poems and songs created during the anti-Japanese armed struggle in praise of President Kim Il Sung have been found in Antu County and other areas of northeast China.

The poems and songs reflect with deep emotion the ideological sense of the Korean people who entrust all their destiny and future entirely to the President, the sun of the nation.

The work "General Kim Is a Hero" sings of their unswerving belief that General Kim Il Sung is the greatest commander who leads the formidable enemy by the nose, though the Japanese imperialists describe the Korean People's Revolutionary Army (KPRA) as a "drop in the ocean".

Such works as "The General Calls Us", "Let Us Fight with Belief Only in the General", "The Ten-point Programme of the Association for the Restoration of the Fatherland", "Pent-up Rancor Is Wreaked", "Song of Liberation" and "Water Mill" mirror the heightened spiritual world of the people who have risen in the decisive all-people resistance under the leadership of the President.

Among the newly discovered works are "The Korean People's Revolutionary Army", "General's Guerrilla Unit", "Magpie", "Song of Millstone" and "Tharyong of Rice-cake". They vividly and truthfully sing of the spiritual and moral virtue of the KPRA founded by the President and formed with fine sons and daughters of the people and of its kindred relations with the people.

In particular, "Well-Seasoned Spring Herbs" and "Acorn Jelly" impressively show that the best wishes for the good health of the President is the core in consolidating the blood ties between the KPRA and the people.

The newly discovered poems and songs carrying the ardent reverence of the then people for President Kim Il Sung are popular among the servicepersons of the Korean People's Army and people.
