Lee Myung Bak Urged to Step Down in S. Korea
Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Association of Buddhist Priests for Realizing Buddhism held a press conference in Kyonggi Province on Feb. 24 to call for the resignation of traitor Lee Myung Bak.

Referring to the fact that the crimes committed by the Lee Myung Bak "government" during the first year of its office surpasses by far those committed in the period of the military fascist dictatorship in the past, the organization asserted that they can no longer tolerate the traitor who savagely violates the democratic rights of the people.

Lee Myung Bak should be forced to step down in order to put an end to the biased policy of the present regime as it serves the interests of big businesses only while reducing the people's livelihood and economy to bankruptcy, the organization stated.

It noted that the struggle for probe into the truth about the tragic incident in Ryongsan is the way for giving vent to the people's resentment, calling on south Koreans of all social strata to turn out in the active struggle to punish those related to the killings and have the detained evacuees released.
