Pyongyang, February 27 (KCNA) -- The Action Headquarters of the 17th-term south Korean Federation of University Student Councils issued a statement on Feb. 23 in demand of the resignation of the puppet minister of Unification, a die-hard anti-reunification element.
The statement said that the appointment of Hyon In Thaek, an element advocating confrontation against reunification, as the minister of "Unification" is little short of the official declaration on their stand against reunification.
The inter-Korean relations have been plunged into a touch-and-go crisis due to the confrontational move of the present regime, the statement pointed out, saying that it is hard to expect the improved inter-Korean relations as long as Hyon takes office as the minister of "Unification."
It demanded that Hyon step down from power at once and the Lee Myung Bak regime come out to the implementation of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.
