The preparatory committee for celebrating February 16 of Kuwait and the Kuwait-DPRK Friendship Association jointly issued a bulletin on Feb. 13 carrying several articles.

The bulletin in its preface introduced in detail the fact that colorful functions were briskly conducted in a worldwide scale to praise the idea, exploits and personality of Kim Jong Il, saying that the atmosphere of celebration was the eruption of ardent reverence of all people for the peerlessly great man who is devoting his all to the country, the people and the human cause of independence.

Articles of the bulletin praised the wise leadership and great traits of Kim Jong Il who kindled the torch of a new great revolutionary surge in Kangson, the birthplace of Chollima movement, and has led to victory the DPRK army and people in their all-out offensive for building a great prosperous powerful socialist nation.

The bulletin issued by the Sri Lanka-People's Korea Friendship Association on Feb. 16 carried articles hailing the greatness of the illustrious commander who is making immortal contributions to the cause of global independence while frustrating the moves of imperialists against the DPRK with the ever-victorious Songun politics.
