It is planned to hold various forms of events including scientific and technological presentation and show, symposium, short course under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

A national symposium on hypothesis and conception, a national nano scientific and technological presentation and nano products exhibition, the 5th National Academic Symposium on Kyongrak, a national technological short course in the field of mushroom production and a scientific and technological symposium on earthquake and volcano will be held and departmental scientific and technological activities will take place in main units.

Especially a scientific and technological presentation and an on-the-spot technological consultation in the metal industry sector are drawing attention to share with each other the scientific and technological achievements made in modernizing the Juche iron production processes and decisively increasing its production and the valuable successes and experiences made in the work of giving priority to the development of the metal industry.

It has been also planned to convene scientific and technological presentation and technological consultation in the fields of electric power and coal industries so as to make a positive contribution to putting the thermal power plants on full capacity operation, operate the hydro-power stations under construction as early as possible and remarkably increasing the coal output.

Preparations are being made for scientific and technological presentations in the sectors of agriculture, fisheries, light industry and city management and for a swift development of cutting-edge science and technology and basic science. Technological short courses and activities for widely generalizing successes and experiences in various sectors of the national economy are under preparation.

This year the associations and scientific societies under the federation are preparing scientific and technological knowledge dissemination activities on a higher level than ever before.

The planned scientific and technological knowledge dissemination activities will be contribute positively to backing up in a scientific and technological way the efforts of the Korean people for creating a general advance speed in the Songun era.
