Pyongyang, February 23 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il was presented with gifts by Felix Fernandes Torres, secretary general of the Peruvian Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea, and Yuri Castro Romero, secretary general of the Peruvian-Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship, on the occasion of his birthday.
They were handed to the charge d'affaires ad interim of the DPRK embassy in Peru by Felix Fernandes Torres and Yuri Castro Romero on Feb. 18.
