Pyongyang, February 22 (KCNA) --The Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association and the Czech Group for the Study and Materialization of the Juche Idea jointly published the first issue of bulletin "Paektusan" on the occasion of the birthday of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

The bulletin edited articles under diverse titles such as "Appearance of Pyongyang", "Scenery of Mt. Paektu" and "Socialist Korea and Democracy."

The bulletin in its articles introduced at length that Pyongyang has turned into a modern city of people under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and Mt. Paektu, a holy mountain of the revolution associated with the immortal exploits of the peerlessly great persons, is visited by a large number of people from the world. It also carried an article telling about the socialist system in the DPRK.

The bulletin in an article titled "Roots of the Single-Minded Unity of the DPRK" recalled that in the early days of his revolutionary activities the President fathered the Juche idea that the popular masses are the masters of the revolution and construction and they are also their motive force and established the great tradition of the single-minded unity.

Noting that the tradition of the single-minded unity in the DPRK has been successfully carried forward by Kim Jong Il, the article stressed that he has developed in depth the Songun idea based on the Juche idea and formulated the Songun policy as a main political mode under socialism and weathered adversities with the might of Songun.

Giving a detailed account of the fact that Kim Jong Il has made endless journeys of Songun for the happiness of the people, the bulletin said: The single-minded unity of the DPRK has been cemented by the relations of the sense of moral obligation existing between the leader who considers it as his greatest pleasure to devote himself to the people and the people who deem it as conscience to remain intensely loyal to him.
