Lee Myung Bak's Crimes under Fire in S. Korea
Pyongyang, February 19 (KCNA) -- Civic and public organizations and political parties of south Korea including the Citizens' Solidarity for Democratic Society and the Bar Association for Democratic Society held a seminar in Seoul on Feb. 10 at which they denounced traitor Lee Myung Bak for his crimes committed during the first year of his office.

Speakers charged that the freedoms of assembly, demonstration and expression have been seriously violated in the above-said period.

The present "government" has been keen only on putting media organs under its control in a bid to stay long in power, they noted, accusing it of pushing forward its moves for the revision of the law on media aimed at handing over broadcasting services to conservative newspapers and big businesses under the pretext of "economic recovery."

The "government" and the ruling party are working hard to enact an evil law for expanding the sphere of operations of the "Intelligence Service" under the pretext of "security," they recalled, stressing that this is nothing but a dream of restoring the past dictatorship.
