Indonesian Ambassador Hosts Reception
Pyongyang, February 19 (KCNA) -- Indonesian Ambassador to the DPRK Daulat Hotma Audison Passaribu hosted a reception at his embassy on Feb. 18 on the occasion of the birthday of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Present there on invitation were Yang Hyong Sop, vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Mun Jae Chol, acting chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, Kim Thae Jong, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Yong Il, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, and officials concerned.

Staff members of the Indonesian embassy were on hand.

The Indonesian ambassador in his speech at the reception hoped that the Korean people would achieve greater success in their drive to build a great prosperous and powerful nation under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.

He expressed belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between Indonesia and the DPRK based on the solid foundation would continue to develop on good terms under the deep care of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Kim Jong Il.

Yang Hyong Sop said in his speech that Kim Jong Il brought about the dawn of a great prosperous and powerful nation and turned the DPRK into a powerful country shining with Songun.

He declared that the DPRK would make positive efforts to boost on an all-round way the relations with Indonesia in various fields including politics, economy and culture in the future, too.
