Candlelight Memorial Services Continue in S. Korea
Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- Candlelight rallies mourning the dead evacuees of Ryongsan go on in Seoul.

The participants of the candlelight rally held on Feb. 8 declared that they would never pardon the killers of the evacuees, accusing the "government" of blindfolding the eyes of the people and stopping their ears over the issue of the killing of evacuees in Ryongsan.

Noting that the era of barbarians has come to this land, they called for eliminating through a struggle those who advocate the material-almighty idea, disregarding human beings.

More citizens would turn out in the protest against the wrong results of investigation into the incident in Ryongsan announced by the prosecution, they warned.

On the same day the security authorities set up a barricade in the Chonggye Plaza and the roads leading to it by mobilizing at least 300 policemen and more than 40 police buses and perpetrated such rowdyism as arresting citizens and bereaved families of the victims even while the rally was under way.
