Security Authorities' Fascist Suppression Assailed in S. Korea
Pyongyang, February 10 (KCNA) -- Members of civic and public organizations and political parties, including the Association of Evacuees and the Democratic Labor Party, students and Netizens in south Korea held a candlelight memorial service for the dead Ryongsan evacuees in Seoul on Feb. 6, at which they denounced the puppet police authorities for their fascist violence.

Speakers charged that the police authorities hurled hundreds of policemen to check the above-said memorial service, groundlessly terming it a rally after blocking off Chonggye Plaza in Seoul to bar the 3rd meeting for condemning Lee Myung Bak and mourning the victims, which is scheduled to be held on Feb. 7.

The police went the length of obstructing the information activities of students calling for participation in the memorial service, they pointed out, declaring that their just struggle would be rapidly spread into across south Korea no matter how amuck the security authorities are running to block their way.

The said 3rd meeting should be held without fail, they said, calling on the broad masses of people to join in the memorial service.
