Repeal of Anti-DPRK Policy Urged in S. Korea
Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions made public a statement on Feb. 3 urging traitor Lee Myung Bak to drop his hostile policy towards the DPRK.

The statement charged that since its emergence the Lee Myung Bak regime has staged anti-DPRK war exercises threatening peace in succession, crying out for "preemptive strike" at the north and pursued the policy for "strengthened alliance" with the U.S.

Lee seeks to nominate as a minister the person who invented the watchwords of "no nukes, opening and 3,000 dollars" and called for abolition of the "Ministry of Unification," it pointed out, adding that such action is intended to bedevil the inter-Korean relations.

Saying that peace of the Korean Peninsula has been plunged into a serious crisis entirely due to the confrontational policy of the Lee Myung Bak "government," it bitterly denounced treacherous and anti-reunification "government" for driving the destiny of the nation to doom.

The statement urged Lee to immediately retract the hostile policy toward the DPRK, properly understanding the gravity of the situation and opt for implementing the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.
