Punishment of Murderers Urged in S. Korea
Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- The All-People Committee for Measures against the Murder of Evacuees in Ryongsan of south Korea launched a signature campaign for punishing the mastermind of the murder of evacuees on Feb. 3.

The organization called a press conference in Seoul that day, at which it condemned Lee Myung Bak for seeking to nominate to the post of chief of the south Korean Police Office Kim Sok Gi, chief of the Seoul District Police Office who directly commanded the killing of evacuees in Ryongsan.

It declared that it would stage the signature campaign in all parts of south Korea in demand of the punishment of the chief murderer.

The organization will also conduct one-man demos outside police stations across south Korea on Feb. 4 in protest against his nomination as chief of the police office and in demand of the punishment of him, it stated.
