Independence Day of Sri Lanka Observed

Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held at the Chollima Hall of Culture on Tuesday on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the independence of Sri Lanka.

Present there were members of the DPRK-Sri Lanka Friendship Association including its chairman and working people in the city.

A speech was made by the chairman and a congratulatory message to the Sri Lanka-People's Korea Friendship Association was adopted at the meeting.
