Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- A Romanian preparatory committee for commemorating the Day of the Sun and February 16 was formed with due ceremony at the building of the Romanian Socialist Union on January 28.
Constantin Rotaru, chairman of the union, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee at the ceremony.
The chairman declared at the ceremony that in the period from February 1 to April 21 they would organize colorful political and cultural events, including seminar, meeting, lecture and round-table talks, and widely introduce through media the undying feats of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and the Korean people's struggle.
